Wurmple (Dragons Exalted 6)

Welcome to my blog!

Our card review for today is Wurmple, a basic, grass type Pokemon from the Dragons Exalted expansion.  Wurmple has 60 hp. It has a X2 weakness to fire and has no resistance but has a retreat cost of one colorless energy. It has no ability but has one attack that is called Sleep Poison. For one colorless energy, flip a coin if heads, the Defending Pokemon is now poisoned and asleep. This is an average basic Pokemon because it has 60 hp and has an attack that disables the enemy. You could put this card in the active Pokemon spot but in my opinion just put it in the Bench until it evolves into its last stage.

Ampharos (Dragons Exalted 40)

Welcome to my blog!
I am sorry that I didn't post yesterday. I didn't post yesterday because I was really tired.

Card review:

Our card review for today is Ampharos. Ampharos is a 2nd stage, lightning type Pokemon from the Dragons Exalted expansion. Ampharos has 140 hp. It has a X2 weakness to fighting and has no resistance but has a retreat cost of 2 colorless energy. It has an ability called Electromagnetic Wall. It is written that As long as this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon, whenever your opponent attaches an Energy from his or her hand to 1 of his or her Pokémon, put 3 damage counters on that Pokémon. It has an attack called Electrobullet that does 70 damage and does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon.  Since this is a 2nd stage Pokemon, you need its basic and 1st stage Pokemon in play. After you evolve it you could Knockout the opponent by using Electrobullet and Electromagnetic Wall. The opponent would have difficulty on energy acceleration because  of its ability. This card is an average card for me because it has a nice ability, retreat cost, weakness, hp but has a slow attack so i am giving this a 3 out of 5 rating

Flaaffy (Dragons Exalted 39)

Welcome to my blog!

Card review:

Our card review for today is Flaaffy, a basic, lightning type Pokemon from the Dragons Exalted expansion. Flaaffy has an hp of 80. It has a X2 weakness to fighting and has no resistance but has a retreat cost of one colorless energy. It doesn't have an ability but has 2 attacks called Cotton Guard and Power Gem. Cotton Guard reduces any damage done to this Pokemon by 20. Power Gem does 40 damage for one lightning energy and two colorless energy. The strategy of this card is just putting it on the bench until it evolves into Ampharos because it has horrible attacks. This card is a below average card because as I have written it has horrible attack.

Mareep (Dragons Exalted 38)

Welcome to my blog!

Card review:

Our card review for today is Mareep a basic, lightning type Pokemon card that is in the Dragons Exalted expansion. Mareep has 60 hp. It has a X2 weakness to fighting and has no resistance. It has a retreat cost of one colorless energy. It doesn't have an ability but has 2 attacks called Cotton Guard and Thunder Jolt. When you use Cotton Guard, any damage done to Mareep will be reduced by 20. When you use Thunder Jolt, it does 30 damage but you need to flip a coin, if you get tails this Pokemon does 10 damage to itself. The strategy of this card is just putting it in your bench and evolve it to its 2nd stage Pokemon, If you are forced on putting it on your bench use cotton guard if you want to survive some hits. This card is a below average card because it has a nice life and retreat cost but has horrible attack.

Aggron mill Deck Analysis and Skeleton

Welcome to my blog!

Deck analysis:

Our deck analysis for today is Aggron mill deck. The strategy of this deck is discarding all the cards in the deck so the enemy runs out of cards and loses. Devolution spray is for devolving Aggron so that you could use the ability toppling wind again. In the skeleton of this deck there is a Sableye so that you could use Junk Hunt. Junk Hunt would let you get your Devolution sprays back and devolving Aggron again and again until there is no more cards to draw. There is also a Darkrai so that you could use its ability Dark Cloak to have a free retreat with your Sableye.

Deck Skeleton:
Pokemon
4 Sableye
4-3-3 Aggron
1 Darkrai

Trainers
4 Professor Juniper
4 N
4 Cheren/Bianca
2 Random Receiver
4 Ultra Ball
4 Devolution Spray
4 Crushing Hammer
2 Enhanced Hammer
3 Pokemon Catcher
2 Super rod
2 Heavy Ball

Energy
8 Dark energy

2 Free Spaces

Since there are 2 free spaces in the skeleton you could add more Heavy Ball or Pokemon Catcher. You could add Rare Candy if you want but in my opinion, Don't put Rare Candy so you wont waste your Junk hunt on getting Rare Candy. Your'e Junk Hunt is to get Devolution sprays and Crushing hammers. But you could try out different cards on this deck.

Gyarados (Dragons Exalted 24)

Welcome to my blog!

Card review:

Our card review for today is Gyarados, a stage 1, water type Pokemon that is in the Dragons Exalted expansion. Gyarados has 130 hp. It has a X2 weakness to electric and has no resistance. It has a retreat cost of 3 colorless energy. It doesn't have an ability but has 2 attacks that are called Sharp Fang and Swing Around. Sharp Fang does 60 damage to the defending Pokemon. Swing Around Does 60 plus 30 more damage for each heads you flip for 2 coins. Since this is a stage 1 Pokemon you need to put Magikarp in play first then evolve it the next turn you play Magikarp. When you use Magikarp you need to store energy so that when you evolve it it could do Sharp Fang already. The strategy of this card is just using Swing Around to do 120 damage if you are lucky every turn so that you could knock out the opponents Pokemon. This card is an average card for me because it is too slow and when you put this Pokemon in the active spot then you don't have switch or the right energy it will be a big problem. This card is good wit a deck with Exp. Share.

Magikarp (Dragons Exalted 23)

Welcome to my blog!

Card review:

Our card review for today is Magikarp, a basic water type Pokemon from the Dragons Exalted expansion. Magikarp has 30 hp. It has X2 weakness to electric and has no resistance. It has a retreat cost of one colorless energy. It doesn't have an ability and has one attack called Soggy Rush, It does 10 damage times the number of heads you flip until you get tails. Obviously, you need to put Magikarp in the bench until you evolve because of its very low hp. In my opinion, its not that bad for a Magikarp card because it could do more damage than the old ones. If you are lucky you could get 30 damage. My rating for this card is 1 out of 5 because it really represent the Magikarp in the game and that is extremely weak. I rated this card 1 out of 5 because this card has very low hp and has an attack that could do 0 damage if you flip your coin into tails at the first flip.

Ninetales/Amooguss Deck Analysis and Skeleton

Welcome to my blog!

Deck analysis:

Our deck analysis for today is the Ninetales/Amooguss deck. Yesterday I had a card review about Ninetales. So just read yesterday's review about Ninetales to know its strategy, its attacks and etc. Amoonguss is in the Next Destinies expansion so I didn't review it. The strategy of this deck is using Devolution spray to use their abilities. Amoonguss' ability is making your opponent confused and poisoned so that Ninetales attack (Hexed Flame) would do 120 damage. Bright Look is used like a Pokemon Catcher.

Deck skeleton:
Pokemon:
4-3 Ninetales DR
4-3 Amoonguss ND
2 Emolga DR

Trainers:
4 Professor Juniper
4 N
4 Cheren
4 Level Ball
4 Devolution Spray
2 Pokemon Catcher
2 Super Scoop Up
2 Switch

Energy:
9 fire energy

9 free space

Optional:
Mew Ex
Tool Scrapper
Rescue Scarf
Sigilyph( for protection against ex)
Random Receiver
Plus Power
Super Rod
Sableye with blend energy

Just try out different cards for this deck so that you would know what card is good in this deck.

Ninetales (Dragons Exalted 19)

Welcome to my blog!

Card Review:

Our card review for today is Ninetales, a stage 1, fire type Pokemon from the expansion, Dragons Exalted. Ninetales has 90 hp. It has a X2 weakness to water and has no resistance but has a retreat cost of one colorless energy like Vulpix. It has an ability called Bright Look. It is written that "When you play this Pokemon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokemon, you may switch 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokemon with his or her Active Pokemon". It also has one attack called Hexed Flame that 20 plus 50 more damage for each special condition affecting the defending Pokemon. Before you could play this card, you need to play Vulpix first then evolve it. The strategy of this card is using Vulpix attack to burn the opponent then evolve it the next turn and use Hexed Flame to do 70 damage to the opponent. In my opinion. Ninetales is an above average card because paired with good cards this could do a lot of damage.

Vulpix (Dragons Exalted 18)

Welcome to my blog!

Card Review:

Our review for today is Vulpix, a basic fire type Pokemon that is in the Dragons Exalted expansion. Vulpix has 60 hp.. It has X2 weakness to water and has no resistance. Vulpix has a retreat cost of one colorless energy. It has no ability and has one attack called Singe that uses one fire type energy to burn the defending Pokemon. In my opinion, you should put Vulpix in your bench until you evolve it. If you put it in the active spot you could use Singe but it only burns the enemy once so one Singe is enough. If you put it in your active Pokemon spot because it is your only Pokemon in play, you should evolve it immediately. This card is a below average because of its attack being ineffective if you burn the defending Pokemon already.

Garchomp/Altaria Deck Analysis

Welcome to my blog! Today, I am gonna make a deck analysis. Please enjoy!

Deck analysis:

The deck analysis for today is the deck archetype, Garchomp/Altaria deck. This deck is my favorite deck. The strategy of this deck is using Garchomp as your main attacker and Altaria as a support for you Garchomp because of its ability called Flight Song. It is written that "your dragon Pokemon's attacks do 20 more damage to the active Pokemon. This is a fast deck because Garchomp could inflict 100 damage (if there are 2 Altarias at bench) for only one  fighting energy.

Pokemon: 20
  • 4-2-4 Garchomp DR
  • 4-4 Altaria
  • 2 Emolga DR
Trainers: 30
  • 4 Professor Juniper
  • 4 N
  • 3 Cheren
  • 4 level Ball
  • 4 Pokemon Catcher
  • 3 Rare Candy
  • 3 Switch
  • 2 Pokemon Communication
  • 3 Super Rod
Energy: 10
  • 6 Figthing energy
  • 4 Blend Energy (L, W,M, F)
Another good card in this deck is Gabite (DR 89)

This is a good card because of its Ability Dragon Call. It is written that " Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for a Dragon-attack.png Pokémon, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward' You could use this card to find all the dragon type Pokemon you need.  This card makes this deck faster. The Emolga in the deck is to search your basic Pokemons like Swablu because Dragon Call only searches dragon type Pokemons. Level Ball is used to search for Gabite.

Jumpluff (Dragons Exalted 3)

Welcome to my blog!

Card Review:

Our card review for today is about Jumpluff, a stage 2 grass type Pokemon that is in the Dragons Exalted expansion. Jumpluff has 90 hp. It has X2 weakness to fire and has a -20 resistance to water.  It doesn't have a retreat cost. It has an ability called Leave It to the Wind. It is written that "Once during your turn, you may return this Pokemon and all cards attached to it to your hand. It has only one attack and its called Acrobatics that uses one grass energy to do 20 damage plus 30 more damage for each heads you flip for two coins. Since Jumpluff is stage 2 you need to put Hoppip and Skiploom in play before you could play this card. In my opinion, Jumpluff has a very low hp for a 2nd stage Pokemon. For me this card is an average card because it can do 80 damage if you flip your coin both heads and uses one grass energy. Jumpluff also has no retreat cost and has an ability to make this Pokemon go back to your hand. You should put this card in a fast deck because Jumpluff uses one energy to attack.

Skiploom (Dragons Exalted 2) Card Review

Welcome to my blog! Yesterday i forgot to mention that this blog is going to have deck reviews too. After I finish a Pokemon card and its evolutions, I am gonna make the deck review.

Card Review:

Our review for today is Skiploom, a stage 1, grass type Pokemon that is in the Dragons Exalted expansion. Skiploom is the 2nd card of the set. Skiploom has 60 hp. It has x2 weakness to fire and has -20 resistance to water. It doesn't have a retreat cost. It has only one attack called Bullet Seed that uses one energy and does 10 damage times the number of heads you get from flipping 4 coins. Bullet Seed is an attack that Skiploom could learn in the Pokemon games. Since Skiploom is a stage 1 Pokemon you need to put Hoppip in play first and then evolve Hoppip into Skiploom. If you have read yesterdays review, Hoppip is supposed to be in the bench concerning its hp being low. Just like Hoppip, Skiploom has small hp for a 1st stage Pokemon so after you evolve it you should put it in the bench so that it wont get knocked out. In my opinion, Skiploom is an average card because this card only needs one grass energy to attack and Skiploom doesn't have a retreat cost that is why this card is an average card for me. This card and its evolution is good on fast decks because they only need one grass energy to attack. Tomorrow's Pokemon card is Jumpluff, the 2nd stage of Hoppip

Please give me suggestions and some ideas about this blog and comment on how i review it. Follow me if you like it. Thank you!

Hoppip (Dragons Exalted 1) Card Reviews

Welcome to my blog. My blog is about the Pokemon Trading Card Game. I will make card reviews, card ratings, and I will teach you how to use the specific card.

Card Review:

Our review for today is about Hoppip, a basic grass type pokemon that is in the Dragons Exalted expansion. This is the first card in the set. Hoppip has 30 hp. It has x2 weakness to fire and a -20 resistance to water. It has a retreat cost of one colorless energy. It has one attack called Flail Around that uses one grass energy and does 10 damage times the number of heads you get when you flip three coins. You should put this card in the bench  until it evolves into its 1st or 2nd stage but you should probably put in the bench till it evolves in to its 2nd stage because the 1st stage pokemon only has a little hp too. You should use this card to attack if you are sure that Hoppip won't die. Hoppip is a very risky card so you should be cautious on using it, one wrong move with Hoppip and you are dead. This card would be very bad without its attack Flail Around because it has the potential to give 30 damage to the enemy. Without this attack he would be very bad considering its hp being very low. You should put this card in a grass deck that consist of its evolve and some revives so when they kill Hoppip you could revive it.

Please give me suggestions and some ideas about this blog and comment on how i review it. Follow me if you like it.
